Energy Systems

For the Data Center energy efficiency is imperative to the business. The increase in the use of energy has intensified the focus on the use of energy consumption by IT and how this can be managed. The efficiency of the Data Center has increasingly become a concerning issue. The supervision system provided by Digicomp performs a fundamental role in the principal stages involved in the reduction of energy consumption in the Data Center and the maintenance of elevated levels of energy efficiency within the Data Center environment.

GMG (Power Generator)

Power Generator: combination of Diesel and electric alternating-current motor, utilized for the supply of electric energy to the Data center, fueled by diesel oil.

It possesses a fuel reservoir and transfer board for the different feeds. Through a monitoring system it is possible to control the data from the motor, alternator and the control system status. It is possible to initiate and stop the Power Generator. It is also possible to monitor the status of the transfer keys connected (availability of the source, source data and connected source) as well as the charge level (when the transfer key is equipped with this resource).

No-break

The supply of energy to the Data Centers where the continuity of the operation without interruption is indispensable. The principle function is to maintain the equipment inside the Data Center in complete functional working order in the case of an energy cut, forming an entire System of redundancy.

Electric Boards

Electric boards with factory guarantee through trials involving high temperatures, dielectric properties, current resistance for short-circuit, protection level, protection circuit efficiency, discharge and isolation distances and mechanical functioning. The boards have on-line monitoring of parameters such as potency, current, tension, circuit breakers etc. These boards are designed and constructed to make viable the substitution of circuit breakers, which are of the extractable type Plug-in (placement and removal of circuit breakers when the board is live).

Busway

The system of energy supply for the Racks which guarantee the flexibility, confidence, availability, organization beyond low obstruction of air on the elevated floor. Through the gages with IP ports, the monitoring of current and other parameters is permitted by a monitoring system. In this bed the electric socket boxes are connected, together with the circuit breakers. All the plug boxes connected to the Busway are the removable type (plug-in).

PDU

The increase in electricity demand and density of equipment in the cabinet requires a new functionality for the distribution of electricity. The PDU “Power Distribution Unit” is responsible for the reliable supply of energy to the Data Center with a local energy monitoring through LED displays, ambient monitoring (Temperature and Humidity), all through IP protocol net. The PDU is an intelligent apparatus with monitoring display of local entrance current, permitting the Network Administrators to utilize the real potency monitor RMS to precisely measure the current (in amps) which the network apparatus is draining from the energy circuit.
